The Alumni Association of BUEST sparked the festive season with an exuberant Diwali celebration on November 9, 2023. Alumni, including faculty members and dedicated 4th class workers, converged at the Alumni Association Studio room, transformed into a vibrant haven of lights and colors adjacent to the Idea Factory room.

The celebration commenced at 11:30 am as the Alumni team adorned the studio with fragrant flowers, shimmering Diya’s and a captivating artistry of rangoli. The radiant ambiance set the stage for a day filled with joy and camaraderie.

The festivities kicked off with the warm glow of the Diya flames, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. The entire gathering participated in a heartfelt Ganesh Pooja, fostering a sense of unity among the alumni, faculty, and the invaluable 4th class workers of Baddi University.

In a thoughtful gesture, gifts were distributed to the hardworking 4th class workers, acknowledging their significant contributions to the university’s daily operations. A sumptuous lunch was arranged in the Idea Factory, providing an opportunity for the alumni staff to relax and revel in the festive spirit.

Post-lunch, the celebration took a lively turn with indoor games like Antakshari and Passing the Parcel. Laughter echoed as songs filled the air, and impromptu dance moves added to the jubilation. The day was a testament to the strong bonds shared within the BUEST alumni family.

As the last note of Antakshari faded away, and the final steps of the dance were taken, it was clear that this Diwali celebration had not just illuminated the room but had also strengthened the ties that bind the Baddi University alumni together.
