About Power Electronics and Drives Department

An Electric Engineer uses sciences, technology and problem-solving skills to design, construct and maintain products, services and information systems such as electric power transmission and electrical machines. They have the ability to produce and interpret accurate drawings along with the ability to analyse complex problems and provide possible solutions. The objectives of a M.Tech programme is to apply a analytical ,systematic, quantifiable and qualitative approach to the design, development, operation and control of electrical drives and power system to the satisfaction of their beneficiaries and to keep the pace with the latest research in Electrical engineering and its application to other engineering and managerial disciplines.
