Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) previously known as Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) is an undergraduate degree program designed to prepare students for a professional career in clinical laboratory science, which plays a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring diseases. The course is designed to be of 4 years duration (including one year compulsory internship). The course equips students with expertise in bio-chemical, haematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological analyses, along with the skills to collect, test, document, and report clinical samples accurately.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission must meet the following requirements:

• Candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects.
• He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Allied and Healthcare Course.
• Admission on the basis of merit of Senior Secondary (10+2).
• For lateral entry: Lateral Entry to the candidates in second year (3rd semester) who have passed Diploma in same discipline.
