About Computer Applications Department

The Department of Computer Applications at SEET was established in 2008 with a vision to educate the youth who have zeal to explore the aspects of computing. The CA department offers BCA, MCA, MCA(Lateral Entry).
Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) is a three-year (six semesters) professional graduate degree in Computer Science.BCA is a new age degree course in the field of Computer Applications. After completion of the BCA course, students can opt for a master’s or they can even try for job opportunities. The BCA degree prepares the students for the manpower requirements of the fast-developing IT/Software industry.

BCA/MCA is hired by private IT companies as well as government organizations. The recruiters are as follows: NTPC, GAIL, BHEL, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, HCL, HP, Syntel, Accenture. They get hired in various roles ranging from Software Developers Software Engineer, Software Consultant, Network Engineer, Database Administrator, Test Engineer, System Analyst, Programmer, Quality Assurance Engineer, and Technical Support Engineers.
