Central Library is one of the central support services of Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology. The objective of the Central Library is to provide information services and access to bibliographic and full text digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and informational needs of the user community. It serves the academic needs of about 2040 students and research scholars and 278 faculty members, technical and administrative staff of our university. The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CDs, online databases, books, e-journals, standards, reports, etc. The collection of the Central library includes reference books pertaining to various disciplines of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Applied sciences, bound volumes of back-dated Journals, back files of Newspaper, Previous year's question-papers & content list of previous Journals.

Library subscribes to more than 2431 National & International technical periodicals & Journals. The library acquires approximately all leading newspapers. Currently library holds more than 25712 carefully selected volumes, which contain both the standard texts, and the reference books of various disciplines. The books have been properly classified according to the international classification scheme, called DDC, and catalogued according to the AACR-II (Anglo American Catalogue Rules-II). It also has the good collection of CDs. Library has the Institutional membership of the British Library. Library can procure books from the British Library on demand of its users, under inter-library-loan service provision.

Library using different open source software for its automation and digitization purpose. It has a number of databases based on OSS like Dspace and Greenstone to serve its users in modern way. It also has networking with the campus network. One can access the facilities of "Digital library" throughout the campus. It displays a number of activities of library on screen, like total collection of Books, total collection of CDs, library rules, OPAC System, arrangement of Books, list of defaulters, record of periodicals, and record of newspapers. Beside all these services, library gives some very valuable services to its users like Compilation of Bibliographies for the books, Abstracting/Indexing of articles of periodicals.
