This club offers world's finest Defence services and get groomed not only to be an Officer but also a Gentleman for life. SSb Club of our university was started under the guidance of worthy principal Col(Retd) Dr.Rakesh Sharma with activities encompassing Mock interviews, Psycho tests preparation, Lecturates and physical fitness grooming.

Our Hallmark: This year 58 students are shortlisted for SSB (army) and 78 for navy, and out of these 5 have already got through.

National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit

The National Service Scheme Unit of this university has 100 plus talented volunteers under its able coordinator Mr. Mehak Sharma. The activities undertaken in the last year are:

1. Record Blood Donation Drive in Solan Distt with over 300 donors donating the blood in a single day.
2. Arboriculture Drive in the campus over 11407 saplings have been planted and maintained.
3. Village Adoption: NSS has adopted village Makhnumajra for its social upliftment Adult Education, PNDT Act and allied subjects are discussed with the villagers.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The National Cadet Corps is to be introduced in this university from the ensuing academic year under the tutelage of Col. (Dr.) Rakesh Sharma. Two senior Division Platoons of 53 cadets each (boy) and 2 Troops of Senior wing girls with strength of 100 is being requisitioned. ANO will be selected from the faculty.

Sports

The campus has facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. The latter include Football, Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton. Hostels have provisions for Table Tennis, Chess and Snooker. A Well equipped gymnasium is also established in all the hostels. Sports competitions are held from September onwards and Annual sports meet is held in the month of February/March every year. Following are the colored teams of the university that partake in various state/national level tournaments.

The Himachal Pradesh football team has eight members from our university, the state badminton champion also hails from this university and there are five boys and three girls in the athletics in the state team.

Art of Living

The Art of Living Foundation was inspired by the programs of spiritual leader and humanitarian His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The foundation was created in 1982 and is now one of the UN's largest volunteer-based NGOs. What started as a team of 5 students in 2009 has now turned into a enthusiastic group of 300 students in the campus giving us a new dimension towards life. The members have realized their true strengths through various 'shivers' and have acquired strength and vigor to accomplish meaningful tasks and gained confidence and excelled in everything they do. Wisdom, service and treating life as a celebration has become our motto here. All this has been possible because of the support and guidance of our esteemed teachers who have always inspired us to make this a regular event in our curriculum.

Baddi Unviersity has a chapter of Indian Society for Technical Education with all its faculty and students as members of this chapter. Mr. Gaurav Sachdeva is the Coordinator. Music And Dramatics Society

MUSIC & DRAMATICS is a culmination of glorified and invigorated art & culture. MUSIC is the language of the heart and DRAMA brings out all those wordless emotions, easing the strain and highlighting the wild streak of the students who just want to break free from the worldly bonds." "MUSIC & DRAMATICS SOCIETY was established in the year 2007 under the guidance of faculty convener Mr. Vinay Bhatia and his team of dedicated teachers. Since then the music and dramatics society has catered to a lot of events like drama, fash-p, music & dance which are imperative part of the college. The Student Convener is Rubina Suri, Co-Convener is Nitin Sharma and Co-ordinator is Neha Gupta.

Fine Arts Society

MISSION: It commonly include the visual art and performing art forms, such as painting, sculpture, collage, assemblage, installation, calligraphy, music, dance, theatre, architecture, photography, conceptual art, and printmaking. However, in some institutes of learning or in museums fine art, and frequently the term fine arts as well, are associated exclusively with visual art forms.

Hacking club is group of highly motivated young minds who are interested in security and innovative thinking. This group indulges in learning hacking techniques through discussions , workshops and demonstrations alumni of IITs, faculty members and private hacking clubs engaged the students throughout the year.

Manthan Club

Mission: This is a quiz club largely responsible for the resurgence of quizzing and other literary events in the college. The platform provides the students and the faculty to brainstorm on issues ranging from social to technical, from rural to urban and from national to international, thereby helping them for competitive exams like GATE, CSAT etc and ameliorate the grey cells, as a quiz club is a great way to keep the mind sharp and continually push to the limits of learning capacity.

"Photomaniakz" Club

The Photography club of Baddi University of emerging sciences and technologies (BUEST) is the sole and open platform for all highly spirited and creative students who want to take photography to another level. The club celebrates and works on the talent of its "PHOTOMANIAKZ" towards organizing various events and workshops through the year.

The club has recently tied up with PIXONOIDS(Photography Club) of NIT Hamirpur to organize a workshop on "ADOBE PREMIERE PRO" Software due 26th and 27th Feb 2011. "TO SHOOT TO KILL IS THE MOTO OF THIS CLUB"

Corporate Social Resposibility Club

Corporate Social Responsibilities are to improve the status of the laborers working in 24x7 shifts in the university premises, this club was initiated by Col. (Dr.) Rakesh Sharma (Director/Principal) and is functioning under the stewardship of Mr. Mahak Sharma and is providing nourishment to the in provisioned children, education to the young kids and succor to the needy.

Freshers'Eve:Sangam

To extend a cordial welcome to the newly enrolled students an eve dedicated to the fresher's is organized. The eve entails programs in dance, skit, self-intro, poetry, mimicry, various games followed by a grand party. Budding talents are spotted by student conveners for their further grooming.

Emanation

Emanation is a national level annual cultural, literary and fine arts extravaganza of the Institutes and is organized and celebrated with full vigour and enthusiasm in the month of April. It is one of the most important and most awaited annual events which provide an opportunity to the students to display their talent with vigor, passion and enthusiasm exhibit their abilities for the team- work and commitment.

The two-day fest witnesses various technical (like Robowar, QU33K,CADPRO,ROVER, Pyrates of Cyberia, X-Terminator, Circuit Wars, Get Set Google, Open Hardware etc.) and cultural events (like solo dance, monkey's paw, singing, fashion round, sufi dance, Arabian dance, hot grooves, krazy six, rock shows, bhangra and natti performances). Students from various colleges of the neighbouring states of Punjab and Haryana also participated in the fest.
