IPES has two Pharmaceutics Laboratories: These laboratories are equipped for the instruction of following subjects: Physical Pharmacy, Unit Operation, Dispensing Pharmacy, Pharmacokinetics and Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology. The laboratories are equipped with Ball mill, Ampoule Washing Machine, Ampoule Filling and Sealing Machine, Liquid filling Machine, Electrical Sieve Shaker, Bulk Density Apparatus, Double Cone Blender, Homogenizer, Autoclave sterilizer, Stirrers.

This laboratory is rich store of various herbal drugs and is equipped with Camera Lucida, Compound microscopes, Trinocular and Projection microscopes and oil emersion microscopes. Besides these, the laboratory has a number of charts and models for instructional purposes and lively demonstration.

These laboratories have adequate glassware facilities like fuming cupboard and sophisticated instruments like Conductivity meter, pH meter, Refractometer, Precision melting point apparatus, High precision analytical and Digital balances, Distillation units, TLC kits, Muffle furnace, Vacuum pumps, Chromatography assembly, Steam distillation.

Attached to microbiology/ Biotechnology laboratory is the aseptic room where laminar air flow station has been installed. Besides, this laboratory is equipped with autoclaves, colony counter, BOD incubator, Orbital shaker incubator, Aseptic cabinet etc.

This laboratory is equipped with centrifuges, permanent slides of various Tissues, Compound microscope, Hutchinson's Spiro meter, Muscle electrodes, Lucas moist chamber, Myographic lever, Stimulator, Electronic Balance(300 gm/10 mg), Sherrington Drum, Perspex bath assembly (double unit), Aerators, Actophotometer, Digital Rota rod apparatus four compartment, Pole climbing apparatus, Analgesiometer (Eddy's hot plate ) with PID control, Analgesiometer (radiat heat methods), Convulsiometer.

Adequate computer terminal along with wifi connectivity is provided.The department has 23 computers. High speed 24 hours Internet connectivity is available to the students through the 2mbps leased line.

To promote the rational use of medicines, a state level Drug Information Centre (DIC) was established in the year 2009 in the Institute. The objective of DIC is to provide authentic, unbiased, and free of cost drug information to health care professionals and general public or patients.

Hand Grinding mill, Hand operated tablet machines, Tablet hardness tester, Capsule filling machine, Digital Tablet Dissolution Test Apparatus, Tablet Disintegration Tests Apparatus, Friability Test Apparatus, Ointment filling Machine, Collapsible Tube Crimping Machine, Tablet Coating Pan.

The department also maintains a herbal garden with collection of about 66 plants.

UV & Visible Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, Trinocular microscopes, Projection microscopes, Micro centrifuge, pH Meter, Digital pH Meter, Colorimeter.

The central library plays a significant role to enhance the knowledge of the students and faculty member's .It has a rich collection of books, periodicals. It houses about 3007 books, National and International magazines and Journals bound volumes of periodicals, besides back files of newspapers, previous years H.P university questions.

Conference hall is aesthetically well designed and furnishes in a state of the art fashion. It is well equipped conducting seminars and conferences and undertaking decision oriented activities.

There are 3 spacious, well ventilated and well-lit lecture halls having comfortable seating arrangement. They are equipped with white boards and overhead projectors.
