About the HOD
Dr Nitin Verma has completed B.Pharm.,First Division Honours Gold Medialst from U. P. Technical University, Lucknow, U.P., India, M.Pharm. First Division Honours, Gold Medialst, with specialization in Pharmacognosy, from University Teaching Department (UTD), Department of Pharmacy, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, M.P., India and PhD (Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry) from GBTU, Lucknow, formerly U. P. Technical University, Lucknow, U.P., India.

He has been authored two International Books entitled “Evaluation of Hepatoprotective Effects of Costus Speciosus Rhizomes” Published by Verlag Lambert Academic Publishing AG & Co. KG, Köln, Germany, printed in USA and UK., and “Bioactive Compound from Phytomedicine”, Published by Intech Publisher, Europe. He has been published 18 international and 7 national research papers in various scientific peer reviewed indexed journals. He has been presented more than 25 research papers in various international and national conferences and symposium.

He is a reviewer of International Journal of Integrative Biology (IJIB), International Journal of Ayurveda and Research (IJAR), Ethanobotanical Research and Applications (EBRA), African Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology (AJPP) and International Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism (IJNM). He is a member of Indian Society of Pharmacognosy (ISP), Association of Pharmaceuticals Teachers of India (APTI), International Society of Ethanopharmacology (ISE), London, U.K., and Society of Free Radical Research, India, (SFRR).

Presently he is a HoD in Institute of Pharmacy and Emerging Sciences, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology, Baddi. He is a member of University Research Committee, Academic Council, and Board of Studies, Pharmacy of BUEST.
