Dr. Mukul Tailang completed his B.Pharm. (1987), M.Pharm. (1989) and Ph.D. (1997) degrees from Department of Pharmaceutical sciences, Dr.H.S.Gour University, Sagar (M.P.).

He has 22 years of Teaching and Research experience in different Universities of India and abroad. He has worked as Associated Professor & Head in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, H.N.B. Garhwal University, SRINAGAR (Uttaranchal), as Professor & Head in Guru Ghasidas University, BILASPUR, University of Science & Technology, Omdurman, SUDAN and Department of Drug Technology, Faculty of Medical Technology, Derna, LIBYA.

He has published more than 50 research papers in the journals of International and National repute. He has also published one book on Phytochemistry.

He has attended many International and National Conferences and presented papers. Many students are working under his able guidance for their doctoral degree.

He has also delivered special guest lectures in various Faculty development programs organized by AICTE and different Universities & colleges.

He is Life member of various pharmaceutical Societies including APTI and Indian society of Pharmacognosy. Presently he is Treasurer, Indian Society of Pharmacognosy.

Dr. Tailang was awarded Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR New Delhi in 1993 and was awarded with Professor M.L.Khorana memorial award for the best research in 2002.
